Day 5 card and giveaway with Faber Castell Design Memory Craft!

Happy Halloween! Since only one person played along on Friday-(must be everyone's busy making their costumes and cupcakes)I'm going to open Friday's giveaway to carry over onto today's contest. I will only do the giveaway is there are 10 or more people commenting so please invite your friends, personal and facebook! 

Here is today's card

 

For this card, I used my Piccadilly Circus stamp set, which is my give-away for today.

For the coloration, I used a combination of Faber Castell Big Brush markers and of course, Gelatos, both wet and dry. I simply stamped the images onto a piece of charcoal paper while overlapping the medallians. I eyeballed a pumpkin shape and cut it out free form. Embellishments include a spray painted ( Tulip ) doily and some vines and leaves drawn in with my Big Brush Green pen. How simple is that?!

More Owls!!!

You will be cutting two of the main owl shape and stitching or gluing the sides together. The back piece is simply folded in half vertically to create a "stand". You can use these owls as vase covers, too. I like the idea of some simple twigs or natural elements stuck in the vase. 

I used various papers from my many different kits sold via QVC over the last 3 years including Sucerie, Brenda Pinnick Signature, Initially Yours, Village Color. I encourage you to USE YOUR STASH! Happy Monday everyone! Here's a project for my Terrorific Tuesday entry hosted by Alexa Westerfield. Thanks for inviting me to play along, Alexa!

I made this batty neckpiece using my Sizzix Die found here. I believe (but can't promise you) that A.C. Moore carries these dies as well. So, I cut out the dies from heavy black cardstock and coated them with 5 coats of Judikin's  Diamond Glaze. LOVE that stuff! I used small, red crystals for the eyes and re-cycled an old neckpiece which was my Mom's, featuring beautiful red and black crystals.
