I believe this is year #4 with these pants. He has no intention of replacing them. AND, he has more like these.
Do you know someone who does this...wears certain clothes until they fall off his body? Please tell me all about it. I want to know that I'm not the only one who has to look at this every single Saturday. If you've found a solution, please share it in the comments.
You are certainly not alone! Our elder son, Adam, now aged 38, has been a walking ragbag ever since his childhood. He has many pairs of jeans like this. A few years ago, when we were all visiting Toronto one New Year's Eve, a stranger came up to him in the street and gave him $10!

Have a similar issue with my DH. Sometimes the only answer is for a tragic accident to take place involving the placement of the items into a recycling bag. A bit naughty but I have done this once or twice. There was one particular hoody that made a normally well dressed man look like a scarecrow - urgggh!!

Oh, you are not alone!! My DH has pull over shirts that are literally coming apart at the seams and are full of holes. No way will he give them up. I think that if Alan's knee holes get much bigger, the bottom of the jeans will be dangling around his ankles!

Sue, you're so right! I've suggested it many times but he's hanging onto them as is! The scissor fairy might just have to show up one day!

First step...turn them into a pair of shorts - they are so nearly there already lol!
