Today it hit 65%. AND SUNNY!
How can I possibly sit in the basement and "work"??
Keeping in mind I'm on several deadlines.
At 3:30, I decided I needed a mini vacation. No plane tickets, no reservations, just a rocking chair on my front porch, facing west, a glass (ok, a 16 oz. tumbler) of Chardonnay and my imagination.
This is HEAVEN. Really, this is HEAVEN.
On every single one of my grade school report cards, my teachers commented that I "DAYDREAM " too much. Well, ya know what, GOOD FOR ME!!!! Yes, I'm a dreamer, that's right! I don't deal in facts or figures or logic. I work entirely in the imaginative realm. Me and a whole bunch of other non-conformists.
This type of work is called "INNOVATION"....imagining the impossible....the absurb....the "we can never sell this"....I literally spend every day just making stuff up.
I have several creative friends who have agreed to doing some collabrative projects with me in 2008. This excites me to no end. I believe in the power of positive energy, of sharing, of creative (daydreamers) heads getting together to create new and wonderful projects! Teaming up with others who aren't afraid to explore new ideas, who don't feel threatened by an overlap of product categories. THIS IS WHEN THE GREAT STUFF HAPPENS!!!! 2008 is going to be a banner year, I can't wait to get going!
Happy Sunday...dream on!
Mom, you are AN INSPIRATION~!!! I love you and everything you do. Cheers!
ps..Nugget and the girls look wonderful in their frames!

My teachers always said that I was a daydreamer too, I wish I'd had the courage all those years ago to tell them that actually I was creative - or maybe I didn't know it then, so thank you Brenda for enlightening me
