Glad to hear you're on the mend Brenda, Oh and thank Brooke for the recipe just a shame I'm on a diet (again!!) or they would definately be in the oven NOW!.
Just had a hint from Nigel (i.e. Rosemary Merry OH from QVC U.K) that you're on your way over soon. Any heads up on what you'll be bringing..... (well if you don't ask you don't get!)
Hope you're on your feet soon, take care

I am sorry to hear of your health situation, but it looks as if you are well on your way to a full recovery.
The love of friends and family can do a lot to help improve one's health. I went through a situation in my mid-twenties when the doctor told me I had cancer. He asked me whether I wanted to contact my family and I told him no. He did anyway.
My mother came out to California, I was attending University of Callifornia, Berkeley at the time, and she stayed by my side the whole time. I eventually got better and here I am today almost 50, wow the years do fly by.
Value your friends and family. I know sometimes they can be a pain, but they are there because they love you.
Thank you for sharing your story and your cookie recipe. The cookies sound delicious, I just wish I could cook. Never learned all these years. But my boyfriend can. I copied your recipe and I am going to ask Kirk to please bake some cookies. He loves to cook, so it won't be a problem.
Thanks for sharing....
